What Do I Do If My Progress from the CD Course Is Not Saving?

If a student's course progress is not saved or exercises are repeated (e.g. after finishing a quiz, student is taken back to an earlier lesson), the student may have been working in "Browsing" mode, which does not record student progress.

When working in "Browsing" mode, the window's title bar will display "BROWSING" after the exercise number.

Follow these instructions to exit the "Browsing" mode:

  1. Select File
  2. "Close this lesson window"
  3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 until the title bar shows "-MAIN-" at the end instead of "-BROWSING-".

Additional note: To manually change the current location/course progress, follow these steps:

  1. Click on Admin
  2. Set Location menu and reset your course location.

Note: You can choose from the course outline to continue where you were before.
