What Are Some Troubleshooting Tips?

If you are having problems related to courses, the following tips should help you get things working. After each step, check if the problem has been resolved.

  1. Verify the Internet connection is working and can reach the server. Browse to
    • If doesn’t connect, the internet connection is out. Contact your internet service provider's technical support team.
  2. Browse to and log in as a student.
  3. Shut down and restart the computer. Make sure that computer is powered off before rebooting. This will usually clear any temporary files that may be causing a problem.
  4. Check that all plugs are securely connected (e.g., internet , speakers and headset cables, etc.).
  5. Follow the instructions on How to Configure My System page to ensure system configuration requirements are met.

Most problems accessing the are due to either network or account issues,  browser/java cache corruption, or computer configuration issues.  The tips listed above have been designed to resolve most of the frequently encountered issues by students.
