What Should I Consider When Adjusting My Student's Course Grade Level?

When enrolling in a course, it is recommended that the course grade level is aligned with the student's school grade level so as to not miss any key content.

For tutor supported courses, our tutors will closely monitor a student’s progress to ensure the appropriate level of challenge is provided consistently throughout the course and that all course content has been mastered before progressing a student ahead to the next level.

To date, we have found it better to do a grade placement up when it is warranted versus down, as we want to avoid the potential of negatively impacting a student's attitude towards the course subject matter and his or her overall confidence.
